Racism, it’s not just for white people, and sexual harassment, it’s not just for men anymore, at least if a former bodyguard of one of the world’s biggest diva’s is to be believed. As reported by TMZ, the owner of the singer’s former security company has alleged that Mariah humiliated him by constantly referring to…
Yes, this blog is primarily a MGTOW blog. Unless you’re a complete hermit you’ll have to deal with women in one form or another. There are also more than a few of us that have been friend zoned (present company included) The personal pain involved in this can be overwhelming especially if you keep it bottled up.
You also need to keep in mind here that there is always a possibility that someone could come along. Biology is something that every man has to deal with and things in your life can change. I personally do research on PUA material not to get laid, but because of all the groups in the manosphere PUA’s have the best insight into female nature and how to have women view you favorably.
But if this has happened to you a massive sharp break is the best way, letting her know that what she has been doing to you is unacceptable. The one I did this too last year got told in a way that she was going to remember.
I recently came back to The Red Pill Nation after a very LONG hiatus! I’m still not sure why I stopped for a while. I did keep the facebook group going and it’s at 1083 members and climbing.
My full on return was brought on by the fallout that Harvey Weinstein created in the film community. This fallout didn’t just occur in Hollywood but also caused at least one person here to lose their job and for me personally, I had to spend a half day or so investigating the odd disappearance of several film contacts that just up and blocked me and one group that I got kicked out of. I started asking around and found out that I wasn’t the only one this had happened to. In my case, I did nothing wrong and broke no laws this didn’t stop people from using an event 10 years ago to settle a grudge.
And thus I came back slowly at first then I spotted this article by Ian Miles Cheong
Started following this story and wouldn’t you know it these idiots tried to play the race card
But wait! The rabbit hole gets deeper, not only did truthdig.com try to play the race card but they also only allowed comments on the article for less than 24 hours before closing them. Naturally, though this didn’t stop an actual academic from taking a closer look at the findings (Ironically with the last name of Mulder) and the whole narrative went down in flames. Red Ice TV did a kick-ass takedown of this story as well
And yes, I did my tiny part as well.
Now you would think that it would end there but it didn’t. One week later this article appeared on my Twitter feed
Pimienta invited “brown girls to the front” during her Oct. 19 show. The outspoken singer, who took home the Polaris Prize for her album “La Papessa” last month, frequently asks her audience to welcome people of colour to the front of the stage. In turn, she requests that white people move back.
Not surprisingly there were several whites, including a photographer that refused to do this. Now had the races been reversed there would’ve been an outpouring of anger that we never would’ve heard the end of. Now here’s where it gets good. The Halifax Pop Explosion APOLOGIZED TO HER! No, they never admitted any wrongdoing and for a few days, I thought about doing a blog just on this incident. First, there was the apology itself from Halifax Pop Explosion.
Dear attendees, fans, artists, staff, volunteers, and folks otherwise involved in the Halifax Pop Explosion. On Thursday, October 19 at the Marquee Club, a white HPX volunteer along with several other white people in the audience reacted to Lido Pimienta inviting “brown girls to the front” of the venue with overt racism. This volunteer was removed by Lido herself. They have since received notification from the festival that they are no longer welcome to volunteer with us.
We will not accept this behaviour and neither should you. Be responsible for your friends – talk to them and support them as they move towards unpacking their racism. People of Colour deserve safe spaces and it is your responsibility to help. It is also ours.
The Halifax Pop Explosion has worked hard in the past year to learn what embracing anti-racism and actively being inclusive of People of Colour and 2SLGBTQ+ folks entails. We take responsibility for missed opportunities to actively support POC artists this year and promise to build meaningful infrastructures within our festival through which to better support these communities in the future.
Halifax Pop Explosion is committing to providing our team with anti-oppression and anti-racism training. Additionally, we will be working with local organizations over the next year to create a list of local resources for our community. We also want to make this list available to those who create unsafe and uncomfortable space at our shows and venues by demonstrating racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, and other discriminatory behaviors, so they too can begin unpacking their discriminatory behavior. As a festival, we will also spend the next several months addressing ways we can make our festival spaces safer for women, POC, and 2SLGBTQ+ folks.
To Lido Pimienta: we are sorry that one of our volunteers interrupted your art, your show, and your audience by being aggressive and racist. We have so much respect for the art and music you create and the space you make for women, people of colour, transgender, and non-binary people. The way you interact with the world acts and provides a thoughtful example. You are a role model to us and many people in our community. We see it. We feel it. We hope you will work with us again.
To the POC in the audience on Thursday night: we are sorry your night was interrupted, and perhaps ruined, by one of our volunteers. We are going to try our best as a festival to create ways to make our spaces safer and more accessible for you. We hope we can rebuild some trust and that you will come back to our shows.
Thanks everyone for reading. We are fielding many discussions already. If you would like to make your voice heard in these discussions, please don’t hesitate to contact the organization directly by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. We are listening.
– Georgie Dudka, on behalf of the Board of Directors for Halifax Pop Explosion
Yeah, your eyes aint fooling you. They apologized to LIDO! Not to the photographer, not to the people that had to move. Nope, they doubled down and apologized to her. But it gets even more special though. Had this just been an honest oversight and the reckless hasty response to criticism being fired their way, the comments section would’ve been left open. But if you go to their facebook page and comment you’ll see your comment but won’t see anyone else’s unless they’re friends of yours. Don’t believe me go and have a look for yourself
Luckily for all of us, the shares are available and boy are they getting ripped. And this was my point here. This is called shadowbanning or throttling. What Facebook does is bury the comments. You have to specifically do this Facebook doesn’t do this on its own. So at least one person at Halifax Pop Explosion knew that they were doing something wrong and tried to blunt it ahead of time.
SECOND example of burying comments
The last point to make on this Lido was getting so much heat for what she did that she had to respond twice.
No admission she had done anything wrong, IN FACT, Lido went on to explain that she does this all the time. Well, Lido that’s really special of you, kind of like that stunned idiot in the South during the 60’s that went on about how this is how he always treated blacks and can’t understand why they’re getting uppity now. Yeah, that’s how these articles came off to me. How dare them white folks get uppity.
Just on a final note here, if you live in Halifax or anywhere near there. I recommend you spend your dollars on other music events in Halifax next year, not the Halifax Pop Explosion
You know what? I really wish this was the end of the blog but it’s not. Read on brave traveler! Because NOW we get to of all publications The New York Times!
So this one started out when I saw a YouTube video by Steven Crowder
Steven did a hell of takedown on this article and if you need to find out how just watch the video above. And Yes, Charles M Blow played the race card to boot!
So this was what I was going to do. I was going to do. I was going to put Steven Crowders rebuttal video in the comments section of this article. Only to discover that just like Truthdig.com they had already closed the comments section 24 hours after the article had been published.
So OK maybe that was a one-off. In the process of discussing the first article, someone pointed out this New York Times article.
It too only had the comments section open 24 hours before they closed comments!
OK, now I’m starting to see a pattern here! Now, this could all just be a coincidence and for all I know this could just be a spate of this happening that could easily disappear next week. Except I distinctly recall the New York Times keeping their comments sections open weeks even months after the article was run. You also can’t dismiss that earlier this year online publications started moving away from comments sections. A place like the New York Times though is in a dilemma. They’re a huge publication that on the surface prides itself on being an open and fair marketplace of ideas.
The other problem in the past few months they’ve openly taken some stances that are patently regressive. At these times they like every other publication that has done this has gotten their ass handed to them in the comments section. So what do they do?
Here’s where the deep pockets and research come in handy. And to demonstrate this I’m going refresh your memory of an event that happened a couple years ago. Back in 2015 a petition was started to ban Daniel Baldwin from attending Supanova Pop Culture Fair
This petition started first and easily had a 1,000 plus signature lead before a counter-petition was started
Despite having almost a week and a huge lead in the number of signatures. The Anti-Baldwin petition got fewer signatures even though they were being supported by parts of the mainstream media.
The reason why they lost is that once the petition was revealed Pro-Baldwin people were able to set up and organize a response that canceled out the initial support the ban Baldwin side had managed.
Deep pockets mean that you can pay people to analyze patterns and responses. And my thinking is this. They’ve discovered either by accident or on purpose that if you allow the comments section to stay open past a certain point in time, your critics are going to overwhelm their limited number of supporters. And let me make this clear, support for the regressives is on the decline. They can’t just disallow comments that would run contrary to the principles of a fair and open marketplace of ideas. So what do you do in a situation like this? Well as we saw with the Ban Daniel Baldwin petitions there’s a period of time between when an article is posted and when your critics see it and have the time to formulate and then post a response. Even longer before that response finds it’s way into the comments section of the original article. This period is called lag time, it’s the period between a stimulus (The New York Times article) and the Response (Steven Crowder’s YouTube Video). Steve Crowder got up on this fast but not fast enough.
By only allowing comments for 24 hours you limit the amount of time your critics have before they can respond directly to your article. It means that unless someone is really on the ball, only your regular readers get the chance to post up comments before the comments section closes. By the time it’s discovered and response can be made your comments are already closed. AND it gives publications plausible deniability because they’re allowing comments not blocking them.
Most people reading this know that’s a pretty slimy way of doing things! I’ve never been in the Armed Forces but pieces like these equate out to Raids. Go in, do your raid, and get out before stronger forces arrive. In the short run, these articles do very little damage. Long term though they can create the impression that our side is at the very least losing strength. This may not be the reality but again as most of us reading this article know. It’s not the reality that matters it’s the perception of it that does
So what can be done about this? This is both an easy and tough one to answer at the same time. The smarter more aware among us knew that this ‘culture war’ was going to have a back and forth to it. As stupid and insane as regressives are, the people at the top the ones attempting to ride these idiots into power are not stupid at all. It was really only a matter of time before they started figuring us out and adjusted their methods. It’s therefore up to us to adapt as well.
And here’s where it gets really difficult. Unlike the regressives, we have people from both sides of the political, cultural and theistic arenas on our side. We quite literally have Atheists and Christians, Liberals and Conservatives, PUA’s and MGTOW’s all on the same side. In fact, I’ve recently had to block someone who normally would’ve hopped on my group page in a cold second, and it was all over MGTOW
So the best way to deal with raiders is with a rapid response. The idea is this there’s a central site that pays attention to press articles and can send the appropriate people to respond before the site has the chance to shut down their comments. This though puts someone right on the border of harassment and in fact, we know that Regressives wouldn’t hesitate one second to make that call. One other thing we can do is pay closer attention and realize that we’re a cultural war of sorts. The only way we can have peace with regressives is on bended knee and I’m not going to submit to that. Which means that you must be ready to respond when you see something.
There’s also a bigger issue to deal with here. Thus far we’ve been dealing with a disjointed, insane and not especially smart opposition. This, as we’ve seen in the last year, has changed. The responses to us become more coordinated and organized. Again this suggests that there’s an organization behind it. This group has deep pockets and access to all kinds of intelligence including how to analyze and defeat us. We’ve been lucky so far that they haven’t had a good tactician in their ranks otherwise we’d be in far more trouble than we are. It’s therefore imperative that we evolve to meet this new trend. I’m not going to get into what that’ll entail here. But for now, more awareness on how the media is responding to us is a good idea.
Or maybe this is just a flash in the pan! I wouldn’t complain at all if I was wrong on this.
I just finished a recording where I cover some of the topics that I thought needed some additional coverage in an audio post and that I either felt I didn’t address properly or I missed/didn’t think to mention during this interview
I had to do some meditation on this interview after the fact, and once I post up My Thoughts on The Ranthony Interview, you’ll notice that I mention asking. That asking is me asking a question putting it out to the universe and getting the answer that I got. When I do this, or when anyone does this I always keep in mind that the answer I get is the answer I get. I’ll admit that in many cases the answer I get back via this meditation process isn’t always pleasant. In many cases, it’s like having to take yet another Red Pill. The information gained from such a process has always been enlightening about the issue or me in some form or another.
This is what I came up with
Straight up Angry MGTOW’s content never really appealed to me. That’s not to mean that I disliked or hated the guy, what I mean is that for me personally his content just wasn’t where I’m at in my life. Not only that his presentation and voice made it really hard for me to sit and watch his videos for more than a few minutes.
And then there’s his actual content
Seriously? Blaire White and ShoeOnHead Feminists? That must either be intentional click bait, or Angry MGTOW isn’t in touch with reality. What I also noticed is that anyone, and I do mean anyone that needed proof that all MGTOW were unhinged, Angry MGTOW was the go-to guy. Occasionally you’d see someone try and twist Sandman’s content around, usually that required cherry picking to make it happen.
I was asked what I was going to do about Angry MGTOW. And what was I going to do about Angry MGTOW? After my meditation, I came up with the answer of, Nothing!
Now that may sound unsatisfactory to the critics of MGTOW, allow me to explain. First of all, I’m responsible for myself and my own actions. I don’t subscribe to him, watch him or endorse him in any way. He occasionally, and do mean occasionally comes up with a compelling point, you have to sift through a lot of content to find it. I Haven’t got the time or inclination to do that. So in my case, my conscience is quite clear
Second MGTOW isn’t an organization like The Borg
MGTOW is a collection of men going along on an individual path. Yes, there are factions inside MGTOW, and some are insane some are quite sane. Beyond the principal of anti gynocentrism and a marriage strike there are few things that all MGTOW will agree on. Therefore it’s impractical and almost impossible for me or any other MGTOW on YouTube to do anything beyond saying that they limit their association with Angry MGTOW. Here’s the ultimate crux of the problem even if Angry MGTOW were to go away (Die, Stop making videos, Quit, Disappear, etc. ) There would simply be another guy like Angry MGTOW that would step into his place. So whether you like him or not he’s here! And there is a faction inside MGTOW that his rhetoric appeals to. I personally don’t associate with him, and that’s really all anyone can do.
What can be done? The MGTOW that have been through the Red Pill Rage and come out the other side. There’s a need for us to be there to help the increasing number of men that are taking the Red Pill themselves and help them through the Purple Pill phase as best we can. Some will get stuck in the Red Pill Rage, and there’s very little I or anyone else can do if a man decides to stay there. Setting this up and encouraging this will require fortitude, there are entirely too many men out there that feel that any kind of emotional expression will make him a crybaby and will treat any other man around them that does so in a harsh manner. None the less I think this needs to be done.
The Comparison to Feminism
Answering this one was pretty easy for me.
It got pointed out to me that the structure of MGTOW is very similar to the structure of Feminism. In structure MGTOW, and Feminism looks the same. The answer here is in actions, A herd of Antelope and a herd of Elephants are both herds. These mammals though are two separate species they may both socialize in herds, but they act differently. This is where the argument that MGTOW is like Feminism falls apart. Yes, a herd is a herd, but herds of different animals act and behave differently despite the fact they both herd together. MGTOW actions have in very few even come close to the actions of what Feminists have done. The extreme factions are always mentioned, the extreme though isn’t the norm, unlike Feminism the extreme factions are not the ones dictating the herd.
I will admit that this comparison has caused me to re-evaluate feminism. It’s become even more clear to me now that Feminism not only won’t clean up its house, but they can’t. For them to do so would require a conscious, consistent long-term effort. It would also require the majority of feminism to actively support or jump on board with such an effort for it to work. Given the current situation that feminism is in at the moment, such an effort is very unlikely. What’s more like, and when I mean more I mean 99% likely to happen. Is that feminism will have to self-destruct and then need to rebuild itself from the ashes. By that time the whole concept of the role of women in society and what’s going on with them will probably be very different from what it is now.
This also serves as a warning to MGTOW and also to the MRM! We as a group cannot allow ourselves to fall into the same trap that feminism is now in. It’s critical that manosphere be about healing and rebuilding of men and not about revenge. It’s also clear from this interview that like Feminism both MGTOW and The MRM will likely also reach a period of redundancy in the west, assuming, of course, humanity doesn’t destroy itself.
Wasps and Bees also have a similar structure, and everyone agrees they’re not the same species, same situation here.
Blue Pill Alphas
If you go into the comments section of the Ranthony video, you’ll find a prime example of blue pill alpha. These are men that are doing well according to the selections that they’re aware. These men would be considered winners by societies standards today. They’ve played the game, played it well and in some rare cases are even thriving.
I reblogged this from The Rational Male, and it explains these guys better than I can here. Suffice to say though in the case of the guy I was dealing with he had a major dependence on external versus internal validation.
I’d have to say at this point in time, these men are as big a threat, if not bigger than anything Feminism can throw at MGTOW at the moment. I did another blog recently about how Feminism is clearly starting to hit the ditch. They simply don’t have the resources either financially or culturally at this time to go into a full-on assault against MGTOW. Blue Pill Males and in particular Blue Pill Alphas do though. There is a basis for them doing so too. Imagine you’ve spent most of your life playing the game, fighting to get to the top of the heap, only to discover that not only was it not the top, but there were MGTOW able to ascend those heights that someone like Mr. Blue Pill Male could only dream of WITHOUT the brutal struggle. That’s not to say that the voyage for MGTOW is easy, the end of the process though delivers freedom that no Blue Piller, Not even a President, Prime Minister or King can have. This invalidates their whole struggle, this also explains why MGTOW have a tendency to want to hide their faces. Our process and struggle is very frightening to a blue pill alpha. Someone like the one I dealt with has to insult someone like me because it’s only in invalidating my effort that he can maintain his effort.
This anger and fear will grow as MGTOW continues to get larger and the effects start to have a real effect on the system as a whole. Specifically, in inoculating men against Gynocentrism these men will be compelled to do more than laughing at us and insulting us, THAT will be when the real fight begins. These men have a vested interest in keeping things the way they are, MGTOW are once they’ve completed the Red Pill Rage above and beyond that model.
This is where staying under the radar helps. At some point, there will be a face or two put on MGTOW until then though remaining a faceless mist is the best approach to people like this. That doesn’t mean I’m going to lie down and allow some ignorant fuck to step on my toes. I’ve worked hard to get past my personal red pill rage but also to self-actualize and self-validate.
Until then no Blue Pill asshole will tell me what I do with my life.
So in review, I’d say this interview was passable, Sandman does a much better job selling MGTOW than I can. I wasn’t seeking to convert anyone that’s not my style, my style is telling people what MGTOW has done for me. That’s really all that I can do
In case you haven’t noticed there’s been an upsurge in popularity in all of the various factions of the Manosphere. If you haven’t seen this, you really need to start paying attention and man (or woman for that matter)
This like almost everything else I’ve encountered in life is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, we have a growing awareness of the situation that is taking place. The Left in its current form is entirely toxic. Men are getting shafted in marriage, relationships or nearly everywhere else. And Feminists, Fundamentalist Muslims and SJW’s simply cannot live and live, much like organizations like the Moral Majority used to do.
People can see this, the establishment specifically the on the left has decided in its wisdom that they know better what’s better for us. Not allowing us as individuals to make their own choices. This is what people call the red pill moment that moment when they see what’s going on around them and awaken to the reality of the situation around them.
This is the scene from the Matrix where Neo first takes the Red Pill
If you’ve seen this movie, you know that Neo doesn’t become fully awake right away. He had to recuperate medically be introduced to the Matrix slowly before he was shown what the reality of the Matrix truly was,. It was only when he learned the real truth via Morpheus teaching him via the construct, that the process of freeing himself from it and becoming empowered could begin in any real serious way
There’s a space of time in the movie between where Neo gets free from the Matrix and where he’s shown the truth of it. That phase is what many of us would like to call the Purple Pill.
But what is the Purple Pill? Well first you have to be aware of what the Red Pill is
This is a basic definition of the Red Pill, and many within the Red Pill community have taken many different meanings depending on who they are. Some of these are good some are not.
Purple Pill is that transition between Blue Pill (Asleep) and the Red Pill (Awake). This transition in the Matrix takes time. Some people are ‘blessed’ with taking a full hit right away. Although it’s not something, they’d consider a blessing at the time.
In my case, my Purple pill transition happened over a couple of decades. Starting with Loreena Bobbit, Noam Chomsky, and an Introduction the Sterling Institute of Relationship.
It ended when Atheism Plus decided that they needed to turn the entire Atheist community into a giant social justice warrior machine. They were only partially successful in doing this, mostly because Atheists are generally a group of independent-minded and strongly opinionated people who for some odd reason had the nerve to demand that Feminists bring actual facts to the table rather than just accepting what they were told.
When a person is in transition that person may not and might not want to absorb or listen to all the Red Pill concepts. So what you’ll run into this crowd is people that for instance or wholly on board when it comes to Gamergate, but will start screaming at you like a fanatical SJW if you criticize Black Lives Matter. Or they’ll run a men’s rights page or group on Facebook but will get their panties in a knot if you post something anti-feminist.
I’ve personally run into both of these, but I also ran into this lovely example brought to you by Feminism LOL
I’d like to say that what Diana has encountered is the exception rather than the rule. That would be a lie, though, I recently did a search on YouTube using the terms “No Longer a Feminist” or “I’m an Antifeminist, ” and the search yielded some fascinating results
Most of these videos were done in the last 18-24 months. We have the usual suspects on here Karen Straughn, and Julie Borowski for instance, have put out enough content that pretty much everyone except perhaps hardcore angry MGTOW would dismiss them. Others though like Kisara Vera, for example, leave you questioning their motives especially after you’ve seen Kisara Vera’s video on MGTOW for instance.
I understand that Kisara Vera may have some good points, but honestly, I’m not very keen on listening to someone who is this ignorant about MGTOW as she was in this video. Luckily for all involved Turd Flinging Monkey made a rebuttal video
We need to keep in mind two different things here when it comes to Purple Pillers. The first being this that not everyone that’s signing on board and claiming to be Red Pill, MRA, MGTOW, Gamergate, Anti-SJW is whom they appear to be. Some of them have very self-serving motives, in fact, everyone myself included needs to be vetted very carefully.
The other is this these Purple Pillers are like that new guy that just started at the workplace. He might be quite enthusiastic, and gun ho about his new job/status but isn’t aware of the lay of the land, the politics and in the case of the Red Pill the personal responsibility that comes from taking the Red Pill. And not all of them are going to become fully awake and aware, some of them are going to go running back.
The thing to remember here is that these people are like children in some ways, they really, honestly don’t know yet. And much like that new guy on the job site we need to have a little patience and understanding, especially when they join sites on Facebook for instance then start tone policing, virtue signaling or even worse. I ran into such a guy at one group on Facebook where this one Black Man apparently didn’t want to hear about how racist the Huffington Post had become and decided to start screaming at me, rather than providing facts to back up what he was saying.
I’ve been running into a lot of this lately, and I’ve been hearing from other people complaining about this as well. This is a consequence of a group or subculture becoming larger. Yes, we get the growth, fame, and influence that come with greater numbers. We also get more dissenting opinions from those not fully aware. For those that are feeling the frustration well up from having to explain basic concepts inside groups that were previously free of this. Understand that these people are not at the same level of awareness that you are. In time they’ll either come around or leave but take it with a grain of salt. When I started this I got ripped into for posting up an article that wasn’t quite right either. It was explained to me why it was this way and I got what they were saying. In doing so they opened the door to MGTOW.
We’re here to show the others that come after us what this Red Pill means, it’s not up to me, you or anyone to decide what that means for them personally. Maybe you will get a Cypher but you’ll free a lot of others on the way.
