Racism, it’s not just for white people, and sexual harassment, it’s not just for men anymore, at least if a former bodyguard of one of the world’s biggest diva’s is to be believed. As reported by TMZ, the owner of the singer’s former security company has alleged that Mariah humiliated him by constantly referring to…
I recently came back to The Red Pill Nation after a very LONG hiatus! I’m still not sure why I stopped for a while. I did keep the facebook group going and it’s at 1083 members and climbing.
My full on return was brought on by the fallout that Harvey Weinstein created in the film community. This fallout didn’t just occur in Hollywood but also caused at least one person here to lose their job and for me personally, I had to spend a half day or so investigating the odd disappearance of several film contacts that just up and blocked me and one group that I got kicked out of. I started asking around and found out that I wasn’t the only one this had happened to. In my case, I did nothing wrong and broke no laws this didn’t stop people from using an event 10 years ago to settle a grudge.
And thus I came back slowly at first then I spotted this article by Ian Miles Cheong
Started following this story and wouldn’t you know it these idiots tried to play the race card
But wait! The rabbit hole gets deeper, not only did truthdig.com try to play the race card but they also only allowed comments on the article for less than 24 hours before closing them. Naturally, though this didn’t stop an actual academic from taking a closer look at the findings (Ironically with the last name of Mulder) and the whole narrative went down in flames. Red Ice TV did a kick-ass takedown of this story as well
And yes, I did my tiny part as well.
Now you would think that it would end there but it didn’t. One week later this article appeared on my Twitter feed
Pimienta invited “brown girls to the front” during her Oct. 19 show. The outspoken singer, who took home the Polaris Prize for her album “La Papessa” last month, frequently asks her audience to welcome people of colour to the front of the stage. In turn, she requests that white people move back.
Not surprisingly there were several whites, including a photographer that refused to do this. Now had the races been reversed there would’ve been an outpouring of anger that we never would’ve heard the end of. Now here’s where it gets good. The Halifax Pop Explosion APOLOGIZED TO HER! No, they never admitted any wrongdoing and for a few days, I thought about doing a blog just on this incident. First, there was the apology itself from Halifax Pop Explosion.
Dear attendees, fans, artists, staff, volunteers, and folks otherwise involved in the Halifax Pop Explosion. On Thursday, October 19 at the Marquee Club, a white HPX volunteer along with several other white people in the audience reacted to Lido Pimienta inviting “brown girls to the front” of the venue with overt racism. This volunteer was removed by Lido herself. They have since received notification from the festival that they are no longer welcome to volunteer with us.
We will not accept this behaviour and neither should you. Be responsible for your friends – talk to them and support them as they move towards unpacking their racism. People of Colour deserve safe spaces and it is your responsibility to help. It is also ours.
The Halifax Pop Explosion has worked hard in the past year to learn what embracing anti-racism and actively being inclusive of People of Colour and 2SLGBTQ+ folks entails. We take responsibility for missed opportunities to actively support POC artists this year and promise to build meaningful infrastructures within our festival through which to better support these communities in the future.
Halifax Pop Explosion is committing to providing our team with anti-oppression and anti-racism training. Additionally, we will be working with local organizations over the next year to create a list of local resources for our community. We also want to make this list available to those who create unsafe and uncomfortable space at our shows and venues by demonstrating racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, and other discriminatory behaviors, so they too can begin unpacking their discriminatory behavior. As a festival, we will also spend the next several months addressing ways we can make our festival spaces safer for women, POC, and 2SLGBTQ+ folks.
To Lido Pimienta: we are sorry that one of our volunteers interrupted your art, your show, and your audience by being aggressive and racist. We have so much respect for the art and music you create and the space you make for women, people of colour, transgender, and non-binary people. The way you interact with the world acts and provides a thoughtful example. You are a role model to us and many people in our community. We see it. We feel it. We hope you will work with us again.
To the POC in the audience on Thursday night: we are sorry your night was interrupted, and perhaps ruined, by one of our volunteers. We are going to try our best as a festival to create ways to make our spaces safer and more accessible for you. We hope we can rebuild some trust and that you will come back to our shows.
Thanks everyone for reading. We are fielding many discussions already. If you would like to make your voice heard in these discussions, please don’t hesitate to contact the organization directly by emailing email@example.com. We are listening.
– Georgie Dudka, on behalf of the Board of Directors for Halifax Pop Explosion
Yeah, your eyes aint fooling you. They apologized to LIDO! Not to the photographer, not to the people that had to move. Nope, they doubled down and apologized to her. But it gets even more special though. Had this just been an honest oversight and the reckless hasty response to criticism being fired their way, the comments section would’ve been left open. But if you go to their facebook page and comment you’ll see your comment but won’t see anyone else’s unless they’re friends of yours. Don’t believe me go and have a look for yourself
Luckily for all of us, the shares are available and boy are they getting ripped. And this was my point here. This is called shadowbanning or throttling. What Facebook does is bury the comments. You have to specifically do this Facebook doesn’t do this on its own. So at least one person at Halifax Pop Explosion knew that they were doing something wrong and tried to blunt it ahead of time.
SECOND example of burying comments
The last point to make on this Lido was getting so much heat for what she did that she had to respond twice.
No admission she had done anything wrong, IN FACT, Lido went on to explain that she does this all the time. Well, Lido that’s really special of you, kind of like that stunned idiot in the South during the 60’s that went on about how this is how he always treated blacks and can’t understand why they’re getting uppity now. Yeah, that’s how these articles came off to me. How dare them white folks get uppity.
Just on a final note here, if you live in Halifax or anywhere near there. I recommend you spend your dollars on other music events in Halifax next year, not the Halifax Pop Explosion
You know what? I really wish this was the end of the blog but it’s not. Read on brave traveler! Because NOW we get to of all publications The New York Times!
So this one started out when I saw a YouTube video by Steven Crowder
Steven did a hell of takedown on this article and if you need to find out how just watch the video above. And Yes, Charles M Blow played the race card to boot!
So this was what I was going to do. I was going to do. I was going to put Steven Crowders rebuttal video in the comments section of this article. Only to discover that just like Truthdig.com they had already closed the comments section 24 hours after the article had been published.
So OK maybe that was a one-off. In the process of discussing the first article, someone pointed out this New York Times article.
It too only had the comments section open 24 hours before they closed comments!
OK, now I’m starting to see a pattern here! Now, this could all just be a coincidence and for all I know this could just be a spate of this happening that could easily disappear next week. Except I distinctly recall the New York Times keeping their comments sections open weeks even months after the article was run. You also can’t dismiss that earlier this year online publications started moving away from comments sections. A place like the New York Times though is in a dilemma. They’re a huge publication that on the surface prides itself on being an open and fair marketplace of ideas.
The other problem in the past few months they’ve openly taken some stances that are patently regressive. At these times they like every other publication that has done this has gotten their ass handed to them in the comments section. So what do they do?
Here’s where the deep pockets and research come in handy. And to demonstrate this I’m going refresh your memory of an event that happened a couple years ago. Back in 2015 a petition was started to ban Daniel Baldwin from attending Supanova Pop Culture Fair
This petition started first and easily had a 1,000 plus signature lead before a counter-petition was started
Despite having almost a week and a huge lead in the number of signatures. The Anti-Baldwin petition got fewer signatures even though they were being supported by parts of the mainstream media.
The reason why they lost is that once the petition was revealed Pro-Baldwin people were able to set up and organize a response that canceled out the initial support the ban Baldwin side had managed.
Deep pockets mean that you can pay people to analyze patterns and responses. And my thinking is this. They’ve discovered either by accident or on purpose that if you allow the comments section to stay open past a certain point in time, your critics are going to overwhelm their limited number of supporters. And let me make this clear, support for the regressives is on the decline. They can’t just disallow comments that would run contrary to the principles of a fair and open marketplace of ideas. So what do you do in a situation like this? Well as we saw with the Ban Daniel Baldwin petitions there’s a period of time between when an article is posted and when your critics see it and have the time to formulate and then post a response. Even longer before that response finds it’s way into the comments section of the original article. This period is called lag time, it’s the period between a stimulus (The New York Times article) and the Response (Steven Crowder’s YouTube Video). Steve Crowder got up on this fast but not fast enough.
By only allowing comments for 24 hours you limit the amount of time your critics have before they can respond directly to your article. It means that unless someone is really on the ball, only your regular readers get the chance to post up comments before the comments section closes. By the time it’s discovered and response can be made your comments are already closed. AND it gives publications plausible deniability because they’re allowing comments not blocking them.
Most people reading this know that’s a pretty slimy way of doing things! I’ve never been in the Armed Forces but pieces like these equate out to Raids. Go in, do your raid, and get out before stronger forces arrive. In the short run, these articles do very little damage. Long term though they can create the impression that our side is at the very least losing strength. This may not be the reality but again as most of us reading this article know. It’s not the reality that matters it’s the perception of it that does
So what can be done about this? This is both an easy and tough one to answer at the same time. The smarter more aware among us knew that this ‘culture war’ was going to have a back and forth to it. As stupid and insane as regressives are, the people at the top the ones attempting to ride these idiots into power are not stupid at all. It was really only a matter of time before they started figuring us out and adjusted their methods. It’s therefore up to us to adapt as well.
And here’s where it gets really difficult. Unlike the regressives, we have people from both sides of the political, cultural and theistic arenas on our side. We quite literally have Atheists and Christians, Liberals and Conservatives, PUA’s and MGTOW’s all on the same side. In fact, I’ve recently had to block someone who normally would’ve hopped on my group page in a cold second, and it was all over MGTOW
So the best way to deal with raiders is with a rapid response. The idea is this there’s a central site that pays attention to press articles and can send the appropriate people to respond before the site has the chance to shut down their comments. This though puts someone right on the border of harassment and in fact, we know that Regressives wouldn’t hesitate one second to make that call. One other thing we can do is pay closer attention and realize that we’re a cultural war of sorts. The only way we can have peace with regressives is on bended knee and I’m not going to submit to that. Which means that you must be ready to respond when you see something.
There’s also a bigger issue to deal with here. Thus far we’ve been dealing with a disjointed, insane and not especially smart opposition. This, as we’ve seen in the last year, has changed. The responses to us become more coordinated and organized. Again this suggests that there’s an organization behind it. This group has deep pockets and access to all kinds of intelligence including how to analyze and defeat us. We’ve been lucky so far that they haven’t had a good tactician in their ranks otherwise we’d be in far more trouble than we are. It’s therefore imperative that we evolve to meet this new trend. I’m not going to get into what that’ll entail here. But for now, more awareness on how the media is responding to us is a good idea.
Or maybe this is just a flash in the pan! I wouldn’t complain at all if I was wrong on this.
Yet another article that doesn’t stand up to even a few minutes of fact-checking. What else did you expect from Salon. Amanda Marcotte is CLEARLY trying to link the MRM to what happened in Charlottesville. Even though there were no active MRM’s or open MRM presence at this event Amanda Marcotte literally went out on a limb to try to link up the two.
What you’re seeing in these articles is out and out desperation and doubling down nothing less.
Unless you can prove definitely that this guy is still a regular contributor to AVFM.com at this current time. Then this whole article can be summarily dismissed as a rather pathetic attempt by Amanda Marcotte to try to tie the MRM with the events in Charlottesville
So WHERE was the MRM presence at this event. As in who was there in AN OFFICIAL CAPACITY representing either the MRM or AVFM. And that would be a direct VERIFIED presence, not just one guy who wrote an article on AVFM a couple of years ago and then desperately try to conflate this one guy as representative of everyone
But wait, folks, we got more Amanda Marcotte went full retard on this one
In case you haven’t noticed there’s been an upsurge in popularity in all of the various factions of the Manosphere. If you haven’t seen this, you really need to start paying attention and man (or woman for that matter)
This like almost everything else I’ve encountered in life is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, we have a growing awareness of the situation that is taking place. The Left in its current form is entirely toxic. Men are getting shafted in marriage, relationships or nearly everywhere else. And Feminists, Fundamentalist Muslims and SJW’s simply cannot live and live, much like organizations like the Moral Majority used to do.
People can see this, the establishment specifically the on the left has decided in its wisdom that they know better what’s better for us. Not allowing us as individuals to make their own choices. This is what people call the red pill moment that moment when they see what’s going on around them and awaken to the reality of the situation around them.
This is the scene from the Matrix where Neo first takes the Red Pill
If you’ve seen this movie, you know that Neo doesn’t become fully awake right away. He had to recuperate medically be introduced to the Matrix slowly before he was shown what the reality of the Matrix truly was,. It was only when he learned the real truth via Morpheus teaching him via the construct, that the process of freeing himself from it and becoming empowered could begin in any real serious way
There’s a space of time in the movie between where Neo gets free from the Matrix and where he’s shown the truth of it. That phase is what many of us would like to call the Purple Pill.
But what is the Purple Pill? Well first you have to be aware of what the Red Pill is
This is a basic definition of the Red Pill, and many within the Red Pill community have taken many different meanings depending on who they are. Some of these are good some are not.
Purple Pill is that transition between Blue Pill (Asleep) and the Red Pill (Awake). This transition in the Matrix takes time. Some people are ‘blessed’ with taking a full hit right away. Although it’s not something, they’d consider a blessing at the time.
In my case, my Purple pill transition happened over a couple of decades. Starting with Loreena Bobbit, Noam Chomsky, and an Introduction the Sterling Institute of Relationship.
It ended when Atheism Plus decided that they needed to turn the entire Atheist community into a giant social justice warrior machine. They were only partially successful in doing this, mostly because Atheists are generally a group of independent-minded and strongly opinionated people who for some odd reason had the nerve to demand that Feminists bring actual facts to the table rather than just accepting what they were told.
When a person is in transition that person may not and might not want to absorb or listen to all the Red Pill concepts. So what you’ll run into this crowd is people that for instance or wholly on board when it comes to Gamergate, but will start screaming at you like a fanatical SJW if you criticize Black Lives Matter. Or they’ll run a men’s rights page or group on Facebook but will get their panties in a knot if you post something anti-feminist.
I’ve personally run into both of these, but I also ran into this lovely example brought to you by Feminism LOL
I’d like to say that what Diana has encountered is the exception rather than the rule. That would be a lie, though, I recently did a search on YouTube using the terms “No Longer a Feminist” or “I’m an Antifeminist, ” and the search yielded some fascinating results
Most of these videos were done in the last 18-24 months. We have the usual suspects on here Karen Straughn, and Julie Borowski for instance, have put out enough content that pretty much everyone except perhaps hardcore angry MGTOW would dismiss them. Others though like Kisara Vera, for example, leave you questioning their motives especially after you’ve seen Kisara Vera’s video on MGTOW for instance.
I understand that Kisara Vera may have some good points, but honestly, I’m not very keen on listening to someone who is this ignorant about MGTOW as she was in this video. Luckily for all involved Turd Flinging Monkey made a rebuttal video
We need to keep in mind two different things here when it comes to Purple Pillers. The first being this that not everyone that’s signing on board and claiming to be Red Pill, MRA, MGTOW, Gamergate, Anti-SJW is whom they appear to be. Some of them have very self-serving motives, in fact, everyone myself included needs to be vetted very carefully.
The other is this these Purple Pillers are like that new guy that just started at the workplace. He might be quite enthusiastic, and gun ho about his new job/status but isn’t aware of the lay of the land, the politics and in the case of the Red Pill the personal responsibility that comes from taking the Red Pill. And not all of them are going to become fully awake and aware, some of them are going to go running back.
The thing to remember here is that these people are like children in some ways, they really, honestly don’t know yet. And much like that new guy on the job site we need to have a little patience and understanding, especially when they join sites on Facebook for instance then start tone policing, virtue signaling or even worse. I ran into such a guy at one group on Facebook where this one Black Man apparently didn’t want to hear about how racist the Huffington Post had become and decided to start screaming at me, rather than providing facts to back up what he was saying.
I’ve been running into a lot of this lately, and I’ve been hearing from other people complaining about this as well. This is a consequence of a group or subculture becoming larger. Yes, we get the growth, fame, and influence that come with greater numbers. We also get more dissenting opinions from those not fully aware. For those that are feeling the frustration well up from having to explain basic concepts inside groups that were previously free of this. Understand that these people are not at the same level of awareness that you are. In time they’ll either come around or leave but take it with a grain of salt. When I started this I got ripped into for posting up an article that wasn’t quite right either. It was explained to me why it was this way and I got what they were saying. In doing so they opened the door to MGTOW.
We’re here to show the others that come after us what this Red Pill means, it’s not up to me, you or anyone to decide what that means for them personally. Maybe you will get a Cypher but you’ll free a lot of others on the way.
Because it’s not men working! It’s attack Helicopters working
I’ll have to admit that it was a little hard to come up with reasonable or likely guesses for 2017. Unlike the last two years where you could only look at Feminists or other regressives and just sit back a predict batshit crazy or epic stupidity in larger and more grandiose amounts. This year there’s a period right after Donald Trump gets sworn in where we’ll all be feeling this guy out before I can say much of anything for certain.
But then again that’s probably where I should start
- People hold their breath for President Donald Trump
The first 100 days are usually a honeymoon period for almost any new politician. In this case, I’m guessing that almost everyone will be waiting to see how Donald Trump conducts himself, before deciding on a course of action. Once this period is over, though, we’ll likely have a pretty good idea how long it’ll take for the culture war to heat up again
But that gets me to my next point here. We’ve all been seeing the news about alleged ‘Russian Hackers’ and more specifically about how Barrack Obama has been doing as much as he can to needle the Russians before Donald Trump assumes office.
That though leads to a somewhat logical (I hope) guess for #2
2 The Establishment may attempt to distract us from the ever widening internal culture war with an outside distraction.
There are two different ways that governments will try to deal with mounting internal pressure. They either repress, which is a terrible thing to do in an open marketplace of ideas like the internet. The other way is to start distracting the people with an outside. Now I’m not sure why the establishment would choose to antagonize a nuclear power like Russia. Whom if you remember had and still have enough nukes to turn the entire planet into a giant dayglo parking lot. The term that comes up for me is ‘playing with fire’ in this case nuclear fire! That doesn’t mean we won’t see #3 happening as well
3. Transparent attempts to crack down or censor the internet mainly alternative news sites.
We saw this almost immediately after the election when a list emerged of ‘fake news’ sites that curiously enough included all the sites that were either against Hillary Clinton or covered the Wikileaks issue extensively. Angela Merkel has even gone so far as to threaten any social media site that published ‘fake news’ with massive fines. It’s not a stretch to see this happen elsewhere in the west too. Certainly wouldn’t put it past Justin Trudeau here in Canada that’s for sure. I do have to point out that Trump’s election was the SECOND time that the establishment didn’t get their way because of the alternate media. Hands up how many of us remember Syria just a few months ago?
This is the list of fake news sites
And this is the original list, note here somehow the National Enquirer isn’t on this list.
Incidentally, I remember Nancy Pelosi bringing a Bill in back then that was supposed to put a cap on this back then.
And that leads me to guess #4
4. Gamergate (or a form of it) is not dead back for round #2
Just when you thought the whole sexism and harassment on the internet was done, it’s back! Starring everyone’s least favorite SJW of all time Anita Sarkeesian! Of course unlike 2014-15 this time the ‘bullying’ thing will just be a shell for particular establishment forces to put (or try to) restrictions on social media sites. This time it won’t be gamers getting targetted but everyone. It will start slowly and gain momentum as the year goes by. You may even see some serious money behind this push and the fight isn’t going to be at Comic-Con either. This time it’ll be in Washington DC.
5. A Watering down of the Manosphere in general
While I try to avoid labeling someone. There is still a period after a person ‘wakes up’ where they’re still processing and sorting through all the information they’ve been given. In my case the transition from Blue Pill to Purple Pill to full on Red Pill took decades. In fact had the morons at Atheism+ not been so fanatical in their zeal to turn the Atheist Community into a regressive haven I might still be a purple pill. What I’ve seen is a lot of ‘purple pill’ or not fully awakened people coming into the movement as a whole. Political Correctness and Tone Policing will be much more widespread in 2017. This ties into number six and not in a good way.
6. A rise in the extreme right inside the movement
There have always been people inside the MRM, MGTOW and Red Pill that were always white nationalists. In fact, regressives have used this fact to project that everyone was like this. The truth of the matter is that much like Feminists that call for the killing of 90% of the males on earth are a small minority. This bunch is also a tiny minority; their issues run parallel to what we’re dealing with especially in regards to the open racism being paraded around in Black Lives Matter like a badge of honor. I have run into more blatant racism and antisemitism in the last month than I have in the previous three years.
7. More prominent divisions rising inside the Manosphere
On my earlier blog, someone accused me of being USA-centric because I posted up at a group that wasn’t American but another nationality. There have always been people in the MRM that wanted the MRM to be ‘ideologically pure’ in this case to be strictly conservative. Now I’m personally aware of what’s going on in Europe. You have a severe immigrant problem, and they’re not assimilating among other things. I’m not there though so for me to give any opinion on what’s happening there other than. “Yeah it’s bad, and it needs fixing.” could and would make me sound like a complete ignoramus. I write and guess what I know. ; this, by the way, is also why I don’t comment on Father’s Rights much. I’m very sympathetic; I’m also not a dad, and there’s an aspect of the problem that I can’t grasp because I haven’t had the experience. MGTOW, in particular, is growing at an exponential rate, this will mean more than a few different voices. Some of these voices are much healthier than others.
8. Attacks on MGTOW happen with more frequency and ferocity
A quick check of my reader on WordPress shows that there are considerably more articles on MGTOW than there were even six months ago. I’ve had two different people that just found out about MGTOW come and ask me about it as well. This is the result of larger numbers of people, yes we have more converts (If that’s even the right word to be using). At the same time, MGTOW is also a larger target and one that’s a lot easier to take a ‘swing at’ because it’s not centralized and organized to the same extent that the MRM or even the Red Pill are, and the Red Pill group is also vast and individualistic. I’ve already gone into why people are more antagonistic towards MGTOW on another blog and video.
Not that these attacks are going to go anywhere to quote a friend taking on MGTOW is like trying to sword fight a fart.
9. I’m not a Feminist or I’m not and/or antifeminist pronouncements rise quickly
I’m going to be doing a video and blog about this very topic hopefully before the end of the month. To encapsulate the story though there was a woman that came out on YouTube who announced herself as not being Feminist and of course, got dog piled. This prompted me to do a search. When I started out, I had something between 35 and 40 videos. The running total is currently at 50 videos. Thirty-Four of these videos came out in 2016 another 13 were published the year before the lions share coming in the later half of 2015. Translation NINETY PERCENT of these went out in the last year. If you do an “I’m a feminist” search of YouTube, you’ll be lucky to find 5 declaring themselves to be Feminist and none of them recent. That translates out to a ten-fold increase in the last 18-24 months. Now project that out for this time next year…Can you say stampede?
Yes, you can, and it’s also entirely possible this could be a blip on the screen. Saying that it’s trending up and will continue to do so is a pretty safe guess.
10. Yet ANOTHER months-long period of feminist and/or SJW stupidity
In 2015 we started seeing Feminists literally go on these stretches where for 2 and 3 months at a time. The highlight in 2015 was the epic failure of feminists to do anything about Roosh V when he visited Canada. In 2016 it culminated in the epic stupid doubling down on Jian Ghomeshi after one of his accusers was shown to be an outright liar. In 2015 they just stopped of their own accord, last year it was the election race that distracted everyone away from them after they were in near total free fall. This year there won’t be an election (At least not in North America anyway) to save feminism. The result will be yet another run of epic stupidity. This one though may be longer lasting and the damage done to Feminism by Feminists will likely never be recovered.
We may also be served with a double scoop of stupid because now the SJW’s will also likely engage in a period like this as well.
Don’t hold your breath this likely won’t happen until the later half of 2017.
11. Very clear signs that Feminism is losing
Up until now, it’s been something of an inside secret that Feminism and now the SJW’s have been losing. This changed to public because of the election of Donald Trump and the Brexit win. What you’re going to see is some of the smarter feminists start admitting they’re in trouble. Especially when it becomes clear that Trump isn’t going down quickly.
12. Things start getting violent
Again I can see this happening later on in the year when it becomes apparent that. Donald Trump isn’t going anywhere. And that the attempts by the establishment to censor discussion didn’t have the desired effect. At this point, they’ve nearly run out of cards to play other than yelling louder and lying more blatantly. Doing more of the same that isn’t working only hastens your downfall. Ever dealt with an animal that’s cornered or injured? If you have then, you know what’s about to happen. It won’t be a stage 4 event, but it will certainly load and cock the trigger.
13. Outrageous and Blatant Lies
If you thought some of the articles done this year were bad (I’m looking at you MTV News) just wait. In 2016 there were only a handful of videos that got pulled because they were so bad. I can see it happening with much greater frequency as the year progresses Don’t check my facts will almost start being a mantra.
14. Members of the various SJW factions start getting in trouble
I’ve been astounded that some people in this camp haven’t seen themselves in legal hot water yet. That may change this year Anita has already been caught politizing with her non-profit. We’ll start hearing about legal and/or criminal action being started against at least one of these people.
15. Bill Cosby Trial!
How could I overlook this gem?
Due to happen in June? This will be the rape trial of the year to watch, and I’m guessing that Feminists are going to go all out here. Mostly for the reasons mentioned previously. There’s more than enough reasonable doubt here. I even remember one lawyer demanding 100 million dollars, or they would press charges! Now much like Jian Ghomeshi he may well be guilty, but events around the case also look like yet another conspiracy. One that’ll start falling apart once the actual trial starts. Expect LOTS of coverage on this, most of it attempting to declare him guilty before the fact.
A Guilty verdict here will start an extended period of feminist gloating, after all by the time the trial is over they’ll be in serious need of any kind of win. Feminism hasn’t had any major wins since VAWA was passed in 2014. However, if he’s found Not Guilty! Well, then everything I mentioned about things getting violent becomes much more real!
I don’t know why I left this till now, but this trial could be a lynchpin the same way the election was in 2016.
16. Virtue Signal Failure
Unlike Bill Cosby, I overlooked this one because it’s such a safe guess that almost anyone can make it. (I predict a quake somewhere in the Pacific Rim!) The Amy Schumer Barbie movie has all the makings of one serious stinker. There may well be others.
17. Call on Donald Trump to be impeached or resign by the end of summer
Started with politics going to end with politics. This is likely another very safe call for me. Why do you ask? Well, you see I live in Alberta, and we had this election here in 2015! The New Democrat Party won, a stunning turn for a province that had been Conservative since almost before I was born.
Rachel Notley barely even had time to warm up a seat in the Alberta Legislature here when people were demanding a recall or that she resign. Now this is an example of the blind attacking coming from the right. I can quite easily see it coming from the ‘regressives’ in the US within a couple of months of Trump sitting in the Oval Office.
18. A Hard Right or Nationalist party wins a country (Or two) in Europe this year.
Given the complete and total inability of the left in Europe to acknowledge that there’s even a problem with the current immigration situation. When it comes to election time this year for certain countries, you’re going to see right leaning or even far right leaning parties gain greater prominence some of them may even win, especially in France.
Well, that’s it for me this year much like how I see the year starting slowly and then heating up as we get closer to the end of the year. Same thing happened to the blog, started slow, but once my thought processes started going, I got on a run. Very quiet almost mute start to 2017 as we all hold our breath for the great unknown (sort of) that is Donald Trump. Once it’s clear where things are going though it’ll heat up quickly. Especially if Bill Cosby is found not guilty.
Let’s see how well my guesses hold up for 2017
It’s the start of the New Year again! That means that it’s time for me to speculate on what might happen in 2017. I was more than a little surprised at how accurate I was for 2015. As I’m writing this, I have no idea how well I did for 2016.
So before I begin for 2017 let’s do a review on how well (or poorly) I did for 2016 this was the blog in question
1. A Politicizing of the gender issue
I have to admit this one was an absolute no-brainer. After all, it was an election year. By July Feminism was openly hemorrhaging badly. Had this election not come along Feminism would likely be a severely wounded and bleeding entity. Not that it wasn’t a terrible year for Feminism anyway
This article doesn’t include Gregory Alan Elliot winning his trial. The Idiotic doubling down by Feminists when Jian Ghomeshi was found innocent. Or how bad Feminists looked when they made blatant attempts to prevent the screening of Cassie Jaye’s documentary on the Men’s Right Movement called Take The Red Pill
Suffice to say I’m gonna count this one as DING!
2. Open calls for arrests and harassment of MRA/MGTOW/Red Pill
I hadn’t even finished the blog when there was an open call for the arrest of Milos Yiannapoulos on a morning talk show
Oddly enough when I wrote this I was thinking it was going to be one of the groups mentioned above, man, was I ever in for a surprise. While it did happen anyway via the open call to disrupt an event that Roosh V was going to put on.
Most of the violence came out either against Milos Yiannapoulos Dangerous Faggot Tour or During Trump Rallies. Men’s Rights and Red Pill ended up fading into the background during the fall
This video doesn’t include Trigglypuff or what happened at DePaul or UC Irvine.
Then we got what happened at Donald Trump political rallies
Gonna give myself a tentative ding on this one. It did happen but not to the people I thought it was going to.
3. Gregory Alan Elliot not guilty
HUGE ding on this one, again not a surprise here. I also have aired an opinion that a group within Twitter may in all likelihood were going to try and use a guilty verdict to come down hard on people like us. What they ended up doing is burning themselves out early with little to no real impact
4. An ever increasing number of attacks by feminists on the GMM (Greater Men’s Movement)
They came out breathing fire at the start of 2016, especially on Twitter. I’m going to bring up a quote from that blog I wrote there
I see feminists becoming very quiet after that. After all, this was their only remaining shot at taking back the initiative they lost back in 2013. When they do come out of the castle again, it’ll get a whole lot nastier. Even more, than it is at the moment.
All that effort and all they managed to do were shut down a couple of pages on Facebook, Halt an Event done by Roosh V and stop a few screenings of Cassie Jaye’s movie. A very pitiful payout for what may have been an outright conspiracy.
Other than the harassment of Cassie Jaye’s movie after July it got pretty quiet it happened enough though that once again DING!
5. Feminism drops the ball on an issue, possibly even more than once
They didn’t even get out of the first day without dropping the ball huge! Look no further than Cologne on New Years Day!
In fact, there were so many of them that when Age of Shitlords did their article, even they had to omit some things
What the hell can I say here? DING!
6. The Beast that is MGTOW starts to emerge in full force.
Became official sometime in the late summer or early fall when MGTOW.com first surpassed A Voice for Men and then blew past We Hunted the Mammoth just a few weeks later.
Yes folks MGTOW is here and is likely here for good unless the rules around a few things change drastically, specifically around marriage.
DING! Six for Six so far!
7. Women start taking the Red Pill!
This one was little bit riskier there are already some women that have swallowed the Red Pill, take this woman for instance
But it wasn’t until September that I started noticing a trend. It started one night at work when I listened to a video from Story Time With Doge
I went in and did some digging on YouTube what I found was an eye opener! I looked up “Not a Feminist” or “I’m an Anti-Feminist” this is what I came up with
45 of the 53 videos on this list are in the last two years. THIRTY SEVEN of them are in 2016. If that’s not solid proof that Feminists are losing their ability to dictate what women say then nothing else will
I will be doing a blog and/or a video on this topic soon because it deserves it’s own mention all by itself.
8. Threats and Arrests of Men’s Activists
I covered this in number 2, So I may have repeated myself this one though was aimed directly at MRA’s. The activity shifted over to the Dangerous Faggot Tour and Donald Trump and not MRA’s. Therefore I have to give this guess a good solid BUMP!
Roosh V doesn’t count because he’s not an MRA
Damn can’t win them all now, can I?
9. Convention in London this June MUST happen!
It did happen, and it went off with just one hitch the AVFM page on Facebook was taken down.
Other than this one small hitch ICMI 16 went off quietly without so much as a whimper from any Feminist. Why this happened, and why it went down so quietly as opposed to what happened in Michigan in 2014 can be speculated on somewhere else.
Gonna give myself a solid DING on this one!
10. Another Men’s Rights Group Emerges.
Didn’t happen! What did happen though was MGTOW got a whole lot bigger than it was a year ago. There was also a slow and gradual turning away from Feminism and Regressives in General as things like the Dangerous Faggot Tour and The Donald Trump presidential campaign diverted the attention away from the MRM.
11. Other media sites start becoming sympathetic to men’s issues.
Not as much I thought! When Cassie Jaye’s movie came out, and the censorship bandwagon started up the publicity became better. Otherwise, I didn’t see much change at all. What I did see was an increase in the rhetoric and lying from the other side.
Very tentatively gonna give myself a ding here and a bow of the head to Cassie Jaye
12. Dissention inside feminism.
I didn’t personally see anything. A quick google search turned up nothing as well. I suspect that this might’ve happened because of the need for Feminists to unite against Donald Trump. They were not nearly so focused on the Manosphere this year.
BONK! I underestimated the amount of bile and desperation within Feminism and The Regressive crowd in general.
13. Casualties inside the GMM
I didn’t see anyone walk away and quit! So casualties didn’t happen. Some people shifted their focus or expanded their activities to fighting regressives as opposed to simply staying inside the Manosphere. I have become much more vocal about being MGTOW.
Bonk here! But this is because of a shift in priorities inside society not because anyone got tired and quit.
14. Divorce, Child Custody, and Alimony issue grind slowly back in men’s favor
January 2nd is far too early to see any stats on 2016 anywhere. From what I saw though the trend does appear to be grinding it’s way to a more balanced system. Grind being the main word here because them wheels are moving damn slow.
10 of 14 were right in one form or another! Not bad when you consider that I’m in no way a psychic, mathematician, remote viewer or any way a practitioner of any kind of future prediction methods, be they scientific or esoteric.
I’m clearly guilty of underestimating Donald Trump not so much because I didn’t think he would win because I always thought that it was possible. What I didn’t see was the profound cultural impact his campaign and election, would have here in North America. In fact, last night while I was writing this I had to listen to one future predictor rant on against Donald Trump constantly as opposed to giving predictions.
2016 was indeed ‘Game the Fuck On’ so to speak. I see what happened with the 2016 Presidential Election especially after Donald Trump won as acts of Desperation. Especially the riots in various places after he won. Those riots were in my opinion about as ‘spontaneous’ as the sun rising in the morning.
On a personal level 2016 was the most difficult and trying year I’ve had as an adult apparantly I wasn’t the only one who had this happen to them though. What will happen in 2017? Well that’s another blog for later this week, so keep watching
