Racism, it’s not just for white people, and sexual harassment, it’s not just for men anymore, at least if a former bodyguard of one of the world’s biggest diva’s is to be believed. As reported by TMZ, the owner of the singer’s former security company has alleged that Mariah humiliated him by constantly referring to…
Yes, this blog is primarily a MGTOW blog. Unless you’re a complete hermit you’ll have to deal with women in one form or another. There are also more than a few of us that have been friend zoned (present company included) The personal pain involved in this can be overwhelming especially if you keep it bottled up.
You also need to keep in mind here that there is always a possibility that someone could come along. Biology is something that every man has to deal with and things in your life can change. I personally do research on PUA material not to get laid, but because of all the groups in the manosphere PUA’s have the best insight into female nature and how to have women view you favorably.
But if this has happened to you a massive sharp break is the best way, letting her know that what she has been doing to you is unacceptable. The one I did this too last year got told in a way that she was going to remember.
I recently came back to The Red Pill Nation after a very LONG hiatus! I’m still not sure why I stopped for a while. I did keep the facebook group going and it’s at 1083 members and climbing.
My full on return was brought on by the fallout that Harvey Weinstein created in the film community. This fallout didn’t just occur in Hollywood but also caused at least one person here to lose their job and for me personally, I had to spend a half day or so investigating the odd disappearance of several film contacts that just up and blocked me and one group that I got kicked out of. I started asking around and found out that I wasn’t the only one this had happened to. In my case, I did nothing wrong and broke no laws this didn’t stop people from using an event 10 years ago to settle a grudge.
And thus I came back slowly at first then I spotted this article by Ian Miles Cheong
Started following this story and wouldn’t you know it these idiots tried to play the race card
But wait! The rabbit hole gets deeper, not only did truthdig.com try to play the race card but they also only allowed comments on the article for less than 24 hours before closing them. Naturally, though this didn’t stop an actual academic from taking a closer look at the findings (Ironically with the last name of Mulder) and the whole narrative went down in flames. Red Ice TV did a kick-ass takedown of this story as well
And yes, I did my tiny part as well.
Now you would think that it would end there but it didn’t. One week later this article appeared on my Twitter feed
Pimienta invited “brown girls to the front” during her Oct. 19 show. The outspoken singer, who took home the Polaris Prize for her album “La Papessa” last month, frequently asks her audience to welcome people of colour to the front of the stage. In turn, she requests that white people move back.
Not surprisingly there were several whites, including a photographer that refused to do this. Now had the races been reversed there would’ve been an outpouring of anger that we never would’ve heard the end of. Now here’s where it gets good. The Halifax Pop Explosion APOLOGIZED TO HER! No, they never admitted any wrongdoing and for a few days, I thought about doing a blog just on this incident. First, there was the apology itself from Halifax Pop Explosion.
Dear attendees, fans, artists, staff, volunteers, and folks otherwise involved in the Halifax Pop Explosion. On Thursday, October 19 at the Marquee Club, a white HPX volunteer along with several other white people in the audience reacted to Lido Pimienta inviting “brown girls to the front” of the venue with overt racism. This volunteer was removed by Lido herself. They have since received notification from the festival that they are no longer welcome to volunteer with us.
We will not accept this behaviour and neither should you. Be responsible for your friends – talk to them and support them as they move towards unpacking their racism. People of Colour deserve safe spaces and it is your responsibility to help. It is also ours.
The Halifax Pop Explosion has worked hard in the past year to learn what embracing anti-racism and actively being inclusive of People of Colour and 2SLGBTQ+ folks entails. We take responsibility for missed opportunities to actively support POC artists this year and promise to build meaningful infrastructures within our festival through which to better support these communities in the future.
Halifax Pop Explosion is committing to providing our team with anti-oppression and anti-racism training. Additionally, we will be working with local organizations over the next year to create a list of local resources for our community. We also want to make this list available to those who create unsafe and uncomfortable space at our shows and venues by demonstrating racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, and other discriminatory behaviors, so they too can begin unpacking their discriminatory behavior. As a festival, we will also spend the next several months addressing ways we can make our festival spaces safer for women, POC, and 2SLGBTQ+ folks.
To Lido Pimienta: we are sorry that one of our volunteers interrupted your art, your show, and your audience by being aggressive and racist. We have so much respect for the art and music you create and the space you make for women, people of colour, transgender, and non-binary people. The way you interact with the world acts and provides a thoughtful example. You are a role model to us and many people in our community. We see it. We feel it. We hope you will work with us again.
To the POC in the audience on Thursday night: we are sorry your night was interrupted, and perhaps ruined, by one of our volunteers. We are going to try our best as a festival to create ways to make our spaces safer and more accessible for you. We hope we can rebuild some trust and that you will come back to our shows.
Thanks everyone for reading. We are fielding many discussions already. If you would like to make your voice heard in these discussions, please don’t hesitate to contact the organization directly by emailing email@example.com. We are listening.
– Georgie Dudka, on behalf of the Board of Directors for Halifax Pop Explosion
Yeah, your eyes aint fooling you. They apologized to LIDO! Not to the photographer, not to the people that had to move. Nope, they doubled down and apologized to her. But it gets even more special though. Had this just been an honest oversight and the reckless hasty response to criticism being fired their way, the comments section would’ve been left open. But if you go to their facebook page and comment you’ll see your comment but won’t see anyone else’s unless they’re friends of yours. Don’t believe me go and have a look for yourself
Luckily for all of us, the shares are available and boy are they getting ripped. And this was my point here. This is called shadowbanning or throttling. What Facebook does is bury the comments. You have to specifically do this Facebook doesn’t do this on its own. So at least one person at Halifax Pop Explosion knew that they were doing something wrong and tried to blunt it ahead of time.
SECOND example of burying comments
The last point to make on this Lido was getting so much heat for what she did that she had to respond twice.
No admission she had done anything wrong, IN FACT, Lido went on to explain that she does this all the time. Well, Lido that’s really special of you, kind of like that stunned idiot in the South during the 60’s that went on about how this is how he always treated blacks and can’t understand why they’re getting uppity now. Yeah, that’s how these articles came off to me. How dare them white folks get uppity.
Just on a final note here, if you live in Halifax or anywhere near there. I recommend you spend your dollars on other music events in Halifax next year, not the Halifax Pop Explosion
You know what? I really wish this was the end of the blog but it’s not. Read on brave traveler! Because NOW we get to of all publications The New York Times!
So this one started out when I saw a YouTube video by Steven Crowder
Steven did a hell of takedown on this article and if you need to find out how just watch the video above. And Yes, Charles M Blow played the race card to boot!
So this was what I was going to do. I was going to do. I was going to put Steven Crowders rebuttal video in the comments section of this article. Only to discover that just like Truthdig.com they had already closed the comments section 24 hours after the article had been published.
So OK maybe that was a one-off. In the process of discussing the first article, someone pointed out this New York Times article.
It too only had the comments section open 24 hours before they closed comments!
OK, now I’m starting to see a pattern here! Now, this could all just be a coincidence and for all I know this could just be a spate of this happening that could easily disappear next week. Except I distinctly recall the New York Times keeping their comments sections open weeks even months after the article was run. You also can’t dismiss that earlier this year online publications started moving away from comments sections. A place like the New York Times though is in a dilemma. They’re a huge publication that on the surface prides itself on being an open and fair marketplace of ideas.
The other problem in the past few months they’ve openly taken some stances that are patently regressive. At these times they like every other publication that has done this has gotten their ass handed to them in the comments section. So what do they do?
Here’s where the deep pockets and research come in handy. And to demonstrate this I’m going refresh your memory of an event that happened a couple years ago. Back in 2015 a petition was started to ban Daniel Baldwin from attending Supanova Pop Culture Fair
This petition started first and easily had a 1,000 plus signature lead before a counter-petition was started
Despite having almost a week and a huge lead in the number of signatures. The Anti-Baldwin petition got fewer signatures even though they were being supported by parts of the mainstream media.
The reason why they lost is that once the petition was revealed Pro-Baldwin people were able to set up and organize a response that canceled out the initial support the ban Baldwin side had managed.
Deep pockets mean that you can pay people to analyze patterns and responses. And my thinking is this. They’ve discovered either by accident or on purpose that if you allow the comments section to stay open past a certain point in time, your critics are going to overwhelm their limited number of supporters. And let me make this clear, support for the regressives is on the decline. They can’t just disallow comments that would run contrary to the principles of a fair and open marketplace of ideas. So what do you do in a situation like this? Well as we saw with the Ban Daniel Baldwin petitions there’s a period of time between when an article is posted and when your critics see it and have the time to formulate and then post a response. Even longer before that response finds it’s way into the comments section of the original article. This period is called lag time, it’s the period between a stimulus (The New York Times article) and the Response (Steven Crowder’s YouTube Video). Steve Crowder got up on this fast but not fast enough.
By only allowing comments for 24 hours you limit the amount of time your critics have before they can respond directly to your article. It means that unless someone is really on the ball, only your regular readers get the chance to post up comments before the comments section closes. By the time it’s discovered and response can be made your comments are already closed. AND it gives publications plausible deniability because they’re allowing comments not blocking them.
Most people reading this know that’s a pretty slimy way of doing things! I’ve never been in the Armed Forces but pieces like these equate out to Raids. Go in, do your raid, and get out before stronger forces arrive. In the short run, these articles do very little damage. Long term though they can create the impression that our side is at the very least losing strength. This may not be the reality but again as most of us reading this article know. It’s not the reality that matters it’s the perception of it that does
So what can be done about this? This is both an easy and tough one to answer at the same time. The smarter more aware among us knew that this ‘culture war’ was going to have a back and forth to it. As stupid and insane as regressives are, the people at the top the ones attempting to ride these idiots into power are not stupid at all. It was really only a matter of time before they started figuring us out and adjusted their methods. It’s therefore up to us to adapt as well.
And here’s where it gets really difficult. Unlike the regressives, we have people from both sides of the political, cultural and theistic arenas on our side. We quite literally have Atheists and Christians, Liberals and Conservatives, PUA’s and MGTOW’s all on the same side. In fact, I’ve recently had to block someone who normally would’ve hopped on my group page in a cold second, and it was all over MGTOW
So the best way to deal with raiders is with a rapid response. The idea is this there’s a central site that pays attention to press articles and can send the appropriate people to respond before the site has the chance to shut down their comments. This though puts someone right on the border of harassment and in fact, we know that Regressives wouldn’t hesitate one second to make that call. One other thing we can do is pay closer attention and realize that we’re a cultural war of sorts. The only way we can have peace with regressives is on bended knee and I’m not going to submit to that. Which means that you must be ready to respond when you see something.
There’s also a bigger issue to deal with here. Thus far we’ve been dealing with a disjointed, insane and not especially smart opposition. This, as we’ve seen in the last year, has changed. The responses to us become more coordinated and organized. Again this suggests that there’s an organization behind it. This group has deep pockets and access to all kinds of intelligence including how to analyze and defeat us. We’ve been lucky so far that they haven’t had a good tactician in their ranks otherwise we’d be in far more trouble than we are. It’s therefore imperative that we evolve to meet this new trend. I’m not going to get into what that’ll entail here. But for now, more awareness on how the media is responding to us is a good idea.
Or maybe this is just a flash in the pan! I wouldn’t complain at all if I was wrong on this.
This is the THIRD time in less than a week where the comments section was open but you either couldn’t read the comments or the comments were only open for less than a day. This is the new middle ground here post it up and have all the supporters come in and post up BEFORE the critics see it and can come over and flood the comments section with a truly deserved rebuttal.
I personally and especially ‘like’ the with me or against me statement he makes in this article about males and supporting feminism
Luckily for you my readers Steve Crowder did this great rebuttal.
And you wonder why so many men are going MGTOW! This article spells out all the risks and how the culture currently stands better than pretty much anything else I’ve read lately.
CRIMINALIZING MALE SEXUALITY By James Jackson, Male sexuality is becoming illegal. Women are abusing their sexual power, and via feminism, are setting up all male sexual behavior as potentially cr…
While I’m not normally a huge fan of ROK for a number of reasons. ROK can and does come up with articles worth sharing. This is one of those articles, it details the breakdown of all the internet attacks that took place a couple months back, offers decent alternatives to the current establishment paysites including alternatives to Patreon and also offer suggestions that I already follow (No Nazi signs even as a joke, no attacks on Jews)
